I have the power to build a wonderful career, a career that serves me and not consume me. And while I do so, I will not compare my journey to someone else’s trajectory. I am exactly where I am and doing exactly what I need to do.
This lazy girl got sick 🤒 and has been spending the past few days rotting in bed wondering if I’ll ever be able to cruise around in Daddy’s Rolls Royce like Victoria did. Slight delay of game but so excited to talk about one of the cornerstones of my childhood - sports.
Superbowl LVIII is T-7 days away! All 32 NFL teams were in Forbes Top 50 Most Valuable Teams in 2023. The NFL brings in more money than any other sports league in the world - $17.5B. As much as I hate giving attention to Taylor and Travis, I would argue the NFL is singlehandedly helping us find joy while the world is falling apart. I want to be entertained as much as anyone else, but we got to start paying attention to the larger societal and global impacts of sports & entertainment.
Us girlies aged 18 to 30 are 30 percentage points more liberal than da boys in the US. Call me crazy, but betting on women’s sports and marketing towards the female consumer could close this gap.

📖 GP STORY: I am a former professional tennis player, ending my career early due to some injuries. I pivoted, and jumped on board at a sports focused VC firm and loved it - was there almost 4 years. I decided to launch my own fund last summer and am so happy I did! A big milestone was getting our first investment across the line before the end of last year, and we are planning on being very active investors this year.
